A RECENT error in transmission by a London advertising agency has led to rumours that HVMS South had gone into administration.

This is definitely not the case, says Wallisdown-based HVMS South which is "very solvent" and has recently enjoyed its "most successful year to date".

Communications director Richard O'Shea said: "We have been established within this region for over three years now, and have made quite an impact on the marketplace.

"A public and legal notice that was sent in error to the Daily Echo, Bournemouth last week has led to some confusion that we are in administration and that is definitely not true.

"We now just want to set the record straight and let the industry know that we are very much alive and kicking, and are in fact in the best form ever."

HVMS South specialises in the installation, operation and maintenance of power networks, ranging from 415V-33,000V, including thermographic surveys.

It currently has HV maintenance contracts with the likes of Ford at Eastleigh, Ryvita, Carnaud Metalbox, Princes Foods, the MoD on Salisbury Plain and SEEBoard, amongst others. It was also responsible for installing the HV & LV supplies at Castlepoint.

HVMS South is also working on a number of flagship developments in London with multinational utilities company ABB.

Mr O'Shea said: "We know we are a dynamic company that has achieved, and will continue to achieve, great things in our sector.

"Our market share is steadily increasing, not just due to our expertise and competitive pricing, but also to the superior service that we offer our clients.

"Our existing customers are incredibly loyal and our continuing marketing campaigns are also attracting fresh interest from new clients, whether they are in the construction or maintenance market."
