DORCHESTER TOWN 0 AFC BOURNEMOUTH 2 MARK Morris thanked Cherries boss Sean O'Driscoll for giving his squad "just what we needed" after this entertaining friendly at the Avenue Stadium last night.
O'Driscoll's full Coca-Cola League One outfit - smarting from their
boss's criticism after a poor performance at Port Vale on Saturday - proved a shade too sharp for the Magpies in the first half when they scored twice through Derek Holmes and Alan Connell.
But Morris's men held their own in the second when they went close to pulling a goal back on several occasions.
"Sean did us the honour of bringing a good squad down and hopefully it will have been a good work out for them because it was certainly an excellent one for us," said Morris.
