TEAM manager Neil Middleditch believes Pirates star Krzysztof Kasprzak should be given another chance in this year's World Championship Grand Prix series.
The Poole RIAS boss has been purring over the young Pole's impressive form in the Elite League this season - highlighted by his maiden full maximum for the Dorset club last week at home against Coventry.
And the Team Great Britain chief feels that KK should be rewarded with a wild card into the Polish GP at Bydgoszcz in his homeland in August.
Special K hasn't just been performing brilliantly in England either.
He has also been on top of his game abroad where he has just won the Polish Final of the World Under-21 Championship qualifiers and is also riding superbly for his ExtraLeague club Leszno.
Kasprzak has already received one wild card into the European GP at Wroclaw, Poland, last month when he finished 15th with four points.
Now he wants a second opportunity to show what he can do at the highest level after having a brief taste of what it is like at the top.
It would be unusual for a rider to get two GP wild cards in the same year, especially now that only one is issued per round.
But Middleditch told the Echo today: "Krzysztof definitely deserves a wild card into Bydgoszcz.
"I don't think it would be fair to put him in other GPs, like the British one, because there are other riders, like David Norris, who deserves another run out at Cardiff.
"But if he continues his current rich vein of form until later in the year, I feel he should get the nod into the European GP."
Middleditch admitted he was "pleasantly surprised" by Kasprzak's exceptional form this year, but added: "He is just a very determined young man.
"He goes out to win at all costs and I just wish that I had a few more young British riders with that enthusiasm.
"It is not hard to see why he is getting so many points at the moment either. He can make starts, can come from the back and has huge racing ability. He is so hard on himself and has such high confidence in his own ability."
"Krzysztof works hard on his fitness and, as things stand at the moment, he is the natural choice for Bydgoszcz.
"He should, without a shadow of a doubt, get into the European GP, although it wouldn't be fair to put him into the Scandinavian or Danish rounds because it wouldn't be fair on their own riders."Kasprzak, who reeled off five heat wins against the Bees in a 57-36 Pirates league triumph, said: "I want to go to the GP again and those 15 points show that is my ambition.
"I want to win race after race to prove that I deserve another chance in the GPs."
Kasprzak, meanwhile, has stressed he will only indulge in the 'Zorro' dance after he has scored a full or paid maximum for Pirates.
Twice now he has performed the John Travolta-style jig - made so popular by ex-Poole captain Magnus Zetterstrom - in front of the main grandstand after being unbeaten by an opponent at Wimborne Road.
The first time was after he had got 14 paid 15 against Swindon in the Knockout Cup at home last month and the second eight days ago when he got 15 against the Bees in the league.
Kasprzak said: "I do the dance because the supporters love it, it makes them happy.
"Zorro is not riding for the Pirates anymore, so I thought I would take over the mantle.
"Every time I get a maximum I will do the dance again, but only after a maximum, either paid or full!"
