STICKERS supporting an extreme right wing organisation have had to be ripped from cars and walls in Poole town centre.
National Front labels were stuck to cars in High Street car park and the men's toilets in Chapel Lane.
The stickers read: "National Front. It's our country. Let's win it back. Repatriation now."
They were found on May 17 and the Borough of Poole has already removed them - but wants to know if more are found.
Town centre councillor Chris Bulteel said: "I would like to see the organisation who did this prosecuted.
"I don't want to see any political party putting stickers on council property. I don't like this party. I think it's extreme and against the interests of this country."
He added: "The council has a strict policy against fly-posting and this shows an arrogance and disregard for other people's feelings and property."
Conservative MP for Poole Robert Syms said: "Not only does it make a mess but all of us in politics have a duty not to flypost.
"I hope they will catch whoever did it. I do not think the National Front is a nice organisation and the fact they didn't have a candidate standing in the election shows how much support they've got around here."
Deputy chairman of British National Front Bernard Franklin said: "These stickers are not supposed to be put on private property.
"They are for stationery. They are only supposed to be used for communication purposes.
"It's usually youngsters who do this.
"I would urge anyone responsible to feel ashamed and apologise."
He added: "It does nothing for our party and just creates bad feeling."
John McBride, Borough of Poole's chief executive, said: "The council's values are the exact opposite of those expressed in the stickers, but the removal is based on the fact that this is unsightly fly-posting and criminal damage.
"We aim to prosecute any fly-poster, in particular those who commit criminal damage by sticking their posters to council property."
He said people working in the town centre would monitor the situation and asked anyone who sees more stickers, or anyone putting them on anything, to call Poole council on 01202 633633.
