RUSSIAN film-maker, Evgeny Lavrentiev is in Bournemouth this weekend looking for extras for his new film, Iced.
A glossy crime thriller set in three different countries, Iced follows the fortunes of a sexy Russian girl who must get to a party, steal millions of pounds worth of diamonds, dodge gangsters and buy a jet to start a new life.
The main character, known as The Hostess, is an adventurous Russian beauty who escapes the tedium of her bourgeois upbringing with an exclusive private jet airline.
But her life is about to get even more interesting when she receives a case of smuggled diamond-encrusted vodka bottles for her birthday party. Suddenly, she is being pursued by gem smugglers, DVD pirates and deadly assassins.
Lavrentiev - who recently completed the $10 million action drama Countdown with House of Eliott and Hidalgo star Louise Lombard - will be filming auditions at Klute on Saturday May 21 from 11am to 4pm. He's seeking good-looking men and women aged 22-35 to take part in a vodka-drinking scene. No experience is necessary, but would-be extras are asked to bring proof of age and a passport-sized photo.
