The weather was not kind for the St Aldhelm’s Church Spring Fair, but, as one helper said, the sun shone “in their hearts”.
All the attractions had to be indoors, in the lounge, the church and the hall, which is now showing its limitations and the need for its replacement, for which this fair was held, as a part of the fundraising efforts to raise the £170,000 local contribution for the project.
Organisers are pleased with the £678 made by this happy and successful event, enjoyed by young and old alike.
