THE twelve members of Peverell Quilters held another successful exhibition in Bradford Peverell Village Hall, with all profits going to the RNLI.
The morning was very well supported by local villagers as well as quilters, from all over Dorset.
There were eight full quilts on display as well as a large selection of bags, cushions, hangings, etc demonstrating the great variety of the members’ work over the past two years.
This year’s group challenge was to make a useful patchwork item on a nautical theme, only to be revealed on the day, and produced some beautiful and varied work.
Visitors chose their favourites by penny voting and the winner was Sunita Parr.
The sales table did a roaring trade and the whole event raised £412 with a further £274 being taken on the Bridport Branch of the RNLI’s stall.
Many thanks to everyone for their support.
