A FOOD company in Bridport has generously donated thousands of biscuits for soldiers in Afghanistan.
The treats, provided by Forest Products, will be divided up and put into shoeboxes that will shortly be sent to soldiers on the frontline in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Territorial Army soldier Andy Kelly-Price drove to Bridport to collect the biscuits and said: “It was really generous of the owner to think of the soldiers and donate this amount of goods.
“It’s great when you’re out there knowing that people at home care so much.”
