LUCKY Rebekah Brownsey has won the Dorset Echo and Stuart Barnes Ltd Dream Conservatory competition.
Her £8,000 prize is now standing proud in her garden in Roundham Gardens, Weymouth.
Stuart Barnes Ltd and the Dorset Echo teamed up for the ‘Win a Dream Conservatory’ contest.
Rebekah, 40, emerged victorious from hundreds of entries to scoop the top prize.
Rebekah suffers from spina bifida, which means that she spends most of her time at her bungalow and she said the prize meant a lot to her.
Fitted with a radiator, the conservatory can be used throughout the year.
Rebekah said: “We could never have afforded to buy a conservatory on our own – it’s amazing and very much appreciated.
“We got our chairs for the conservatory through the Echo classifieds and they’re lovely, so we’ve done quite well.”
She added: “My dog Ruby loves it and thinks it’s especially for her.”
Rebekah collected tokens in the Dorset Echo for the Win a Dream Conservatory competition.
She was among hundreds of people who attended a grand draw at the Dorset Echo offices with business boss Stuart Barnes.
Rebekah was one of 10 finalists and chose the right key to open a ‘competition door’ – and won the conservatory.
Mr Barnes said: “It’s just so nice that we’ve had such a deserving winner.”
He added: “It’s the first time we’ve done that competition and I was absolutely amazed at the response. I’d definitely like to do it again.”
