TWO Dorchester women gave each other some firm support before embarking on a marathon in their bras.
Briony Emery, 34, and Debbie Masterson, 53, met when they found they were each doing the London MoonWalk for health charity Walk the Walk.
The pair did Dorchester proud as they completed the gruelling 26-mile moonlit course around the capital in their flamboyant brassieres.
Around 15,000 men and women took part in the Moonwalk, which started and finished in Hyde Park.
Health visitor Debbie said: “Watching the sun rise as we were going along the Embankment was wonderful.
“But I have to say that the best sight of all was the finish line.”
Teacher Briony, who works at the Compass Centre in Weymouth, found it a struggle getting around the course.
“I ate too much beforehand and I felt sick all the way round.
“But I thought that there’s no way I’m going home without finishing.
“The atmosphere was fantastic – so many people who were on their way home from a night out were clapping as we went round the course,” she said.
Debbie expects to have raised £650 for the cause while Briony has raked in more than £700 for breast cancer causes.
