I would like to give my praise and thanks to all those crew members of the magnificent TS Pelican who gave us an absolutely fantastic, exhilarating and unforgettable day out on that lovely, graceful lady of the sea.

This was the time of the the first trials of day cruises arranged from Weymouth harbour and were very successful.

Being a regular tall ship tripper, I have nothing but praise for these superb day sailings along the coast of Weymouth and Portland.

I really hope they decide to arrange more day sails for tourists, locals and anyone who wants to try their hand at climbing up the masts, pulling ropes for hoisting sails up or down or at the helm - the latter I always love.

To all the team and crew at TS Pelican, please, please arrange more day sails, and weekend cruise sails for the rest of the season here in lovely sunny Weymouth.
