REPRESENTATIVES of Cattistock First Responders were busy counting money in the Fox and Hounds on the evening of Wednesday, May 13. After the 50p tower had been dismantled and the jumbo bottle emptied, an amazing £201 had been raised.
Julian English, Chairman of Cattistock First Responders, commented: "Our thanks go to Scott and Liz and of course to all those who have contributed over the last ten months.
Rather than purchase a vehicle, we have decided to do something which we hope will be of direct benefit to our community; we are going to use our funds to purchase Careline units for vulnerable residents and will be launching this initiative at the Cattistock fete on Saturday, July 4."
