I was very interested when reading the Magistrate Court cases in Wednesday’s Echo.
It seems you are better off having no car insurance than illegally spacing your car number plates.
There was a fine of £115 for spacing the letters or numbers wrongly – and a £75 fine for driving with no insurance.
That might perhaps be followed by being involved in an accident and not being able to cover costs of injured parties or vehicles!
I find this absolutely laughable!
Is this really justice?
