THE A35 near Bridport has been blocked after a caravan overturned and collided with a white van.
Police and emergency services are currently working to clear the road, near Askerswell, of debris following the collision between a caravan being driven by a white Toyota Carina and a white Mercedes sprinter van, registered to a Cheshire man.
A spokesman from Dorset Police said that the incident happened shortly before 10.53am today and confirmed that the van driver is thought to have a slight injury.
A witness told police officers that the wind took the caravan and caused the collision.
The road is starting to re-open in places with slow moving traffic in both directions between the Lee Lane junction and the Shipton Road junction in Bridport.
