“I WILL always remember the good times and the mischief.”

This is one of the dozens of heartfelt tributes that have poured in for Kirk Parsons, the motorcyclist killed in Bovington on Saturday.

More flowers and cards have collected at the entrance to the Tank Museum, where the accident occurred, from family and friends of the popular 27-year-old.

One card read: “Arras Road won’t be the same without you.”

Referring to Kirk’s love of motorbikes, another card said: “Ride hard and ride fast forever. You will always be in our thoughts.”

Another card simply stated: “Not a day will pass when we don’t think of you.”

Kirk, a mechanic who went on to retrain as a landscape gardener, was a much-loved character in Bovington, having lived in the area for almost his entire life “Thanks for the 20 years of being friends,” read another floral tribute.

Barry Parsons said since the sudden death of Kirk, calls and cards of support had flooded in.

Mr Parsons, a former soldier at Bovington Camp and now a community development worker there, issued a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has paid tribute to his “extremely popular” step son.

The 74-year-old male driver of the Peugeot camper van involved in the collision has been released on bail, without charge, while enquiries continue.

Any witnesses to the collision should call Dorset Police on 01305 222222.
