A CYCLIST has been airlifted to hospital after his bike slipped off a path at the Nothe and he plunged more than 10ft to the rocks below. The 46-year-old man was airlifted from Newton’s Cove at 3pm on Saturday and was rushed to Dorset County Hospital by the coastguard helicopter.
A spokesman for Dorset Ambulance Service said the man has leg and spinal injuries and that his condition is serious but not life-threatening.
