A DORCHESTER based equine veterinary practice is expanding its award-winning service.
Remmer de Boer’s Mobile Equine Veterinary Care, a finalist in Dorset’s Open 4 Bussiness Excellence Awards last year, has welcomed on board a new partner and is set to expand across East Dorset and West Hampshire.
Vet Helen Taylor has joined the practice, now known as the de Boer and Taylor Equine Veterinary Surgery, which will be one of the first fully mobile practices in the region.
The new team is promising to help horse owners struggling in the current economic climate by offering a convenient and cost effective mobile service.
Mr de Boer said: “Having Helen on board is fantastic news. We are now able to provide wider coverage across the region and ensure that all horses in need of attention are reached quickly.
“The economic downturn is proving a real strain so we’ll be doing all we can to help people care for their animals properly but cost effectively.
“We aim to offer a highly personal service and are always happy to offer advice over the phone. Sometime this may be enough to prevent the cost of an unnecessary call out.”
