A BLAZE destroyed 75 tonnes of hay in a barn near Broadmayne last night.
Five crews of firefighters were called to the suspected arson attack at the buildings off Chalky Road at 8.45pm.
They were there until the early hours and back again this morning to make sure the fire had died out.
Some 230 bales were destroyed in the blaze but cows nearby were also in danger from the fire.
The fire service said the police were investigating the fire.
