PEOPLE in Dorset are being urged to help older and disabled residents switch at least one TV to digital in time for the forthcoming turnover.

BBC project The Switchover Help Scheme is offering 120,000 people in the South West help with keeping their TV working after May 6.

Three quarters have not replied and the firm has launched a new Pass It On campaign to encourage people to help older and disabled viewers.

Parts of Dorset begin the switch to digital on May 6, with analogue switched off by May 20.
