A VERY big thank you and well done to everyone involved in our charity fashion and hair show held last month at Dorchester football club.

The generosity of people and businesses of both Weymouth and Dorchester enabled us to raise the fantastic amount of £3,800 to split between the two such deserving children’s charities.

More than 400 people attended and more than 60 models - plus countless dressers, hair artists, make up specialists and other skilled people - all worked so hard and had what we hope was a very enjoyable evening.

It would be so unfair to pick out any individuals for special praise but well done Nicky, Alison and Barry.

Once again Weymouth and Dorchester proved that not only do we live in an area rich in natural beauty but also rich in community responsible businesses and residents.
