Further to the letter ‘Charge cars to cut congestion’ (You Sat, April 4) on congestion charging, in James Robertson’s last paragraph he remarks on the fact that the railway is adjacent to the Mercery Road business park area.
It occurs to me that maybe a rethink on the traffic problem might be considered.
Why not build a train halt and a bus interchange there instead of in the town, all linked to the park and ride scheme.
