THANKS to everyone who attended my mayor’s charity dance/60th birthday party at the Conservative Club on Portland on March 14.
The evening was well attended and thanks to the generousity of my sponsors Lanaction, Dave Page and his Rockabilly disco and the Conservatice Club.
All the money raised will go to my charities, Julia's House and the Osprey Lesiure Centre Portland.
During the evening a cheque for £500 was also presented to Dr Paul Mason of the Osprey Lesiure centre, this cheque was donated by ASDA Stores Weymouth and I would like to thank them very much for all the support they have given me during my mayoral year.
I would like to thank all the companies who donated raffle prizes and the amount raised from the night was over £700.
So far over £2,000 has been raised for my charities, and I am so grateful to everyone who have helped me achieve this amount.
Coun Sandy West, Portland Mayor, Eastweare Road, Portland.
