PEOPLE have been learning how to talk about climate change.
Workshops were run where green-minded individuals learned how to use a special Dorset presentation which inspires people to take action by reducing their impact on the environment.
It is hoped at least 1,000 people will hear the presentations and reduce their carbon footprint by five per cent.
The workshops were hosted by Dorset Climate Change Coalition, a partnership of voluntary and public sector organisations which are working together to raise awareness of climate change.
Emily Bullock, who ran the training, said: “I was delighted that so many people took up the places on the two training courses – it’s good to know that people are keen to make a difference.”
If you would like to hear the presentation or attend a future course contact Emily Bullock on 01202 307413 or email: Emily@dorsetclimate.org.uk
