We had a super welcome at this pool and the staff was really encouraging. However, no lane this time and the pool was very busy with lots of large floats and rubber lilos to block our way. A few young lads decided it might be a good game to play chicken and swim across our path and I must confess to deliberately not being too careful. The pool itself seemed to lack firm lifeguarding and the occasional bit of horseplay was going on. There is a balance between overbearing rules and regulations and being too
relaxed in management style. However, we enjoyed our swim and the other pool customers were also obviously having a good time. On the way out, the pool supervisor said that he had complaints about the pool temperature but it suited us. These soft northerners!
