This was to be our fourth and last lido of the day and we found it easily enough on the edge of town. This swimming centre also had an indoor 25 metre, 8 lane pool. The outdoor pool was 50 metres long and already had a couple of lanes set out (wonderful!). There was a quite shallow end, but this was a good swim to finish the day. This council run pool was obviously well cared for and the staff extremely friendly. There were hanging baskets hanging from a pergola at the shallow end and there was ample space to lounge at leisure around the pool fringes. We were moving on to Dave’s sister Liz’s place immediately after otherwise we might have been tempted by the nice looking cafeteria at the side.
