An event helping families by keeping them warm and giving out books will be taking place this winter.
There will be two Wrap-Up & Read events held in Weymouth this December.
These events seek to help families by distributing donated coats and books to those who need them in Weymouth and the surrounding areas.
Organiser Natalie Lawrence said: "For the past two years I have run a self-run scheme to help local people and residents of Weymouth and surrounding areas by providing families and charities with free coats, warm wear and books.
"I have been fortunate to have been donated over 250 beautiful coats and items from people and have been able to support young children and young adults, and also adults such as the homeless shelter and local food banks too.
"If you have a coat to donate and swap for a new one, please bring it along."
There are no criteria for this appeal apart from honesty and integrity.
The two dates and venues for these coats are on Saturday, December 7 from 10am to 12pm at the Everyone Active swimming centre in Weymouth, and on Friday, December 13 from 11am to 12.13pm at the Top Club, Littlemoor Community Centre.
