A section of the A35 has been closed due to a crash.
The crash took place near to the old Friary Press building and the road remains closed in both directions from Monkeys Jump Roundabout to the Esso Roundabout, Bridport.
According to traffic monitoring site Inrix, there are large queues of traffic as a result of the road closure from North Rew Lane, Winterbourne Abbas to Tilly Whim Lane, Poundbury.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and take a different route at this time.
