Yarn bombers have been hard with their recent festive creation.

The post box outside of the shops in Southill, Weymouth has been targeted by some very talented crafters who are spreading Christmas cheer.

The impressive topper features two decorated trees, a stack of presents, holly, a Christmas cracker and colourful circles depicting Christmas lights.

Residents of Southill have taken to social media to share their love of the wooly-creation with many labelling it ‘lovely,’ ‘amazing,’ and ‘brilliant.’

The last time the post box was targeted by yarn bombers was in June 2023 when the community was celebrating 50 years of Southill Primary School.

At this time an array of knitted creations could be seen around the community including sea creatures in a bus shelter, butterflies on the school gates and much more.
