A man has been handed a fine and received points on his licence after being pulled over by police.
Officers spotted a car which they believed was being driven in a strange manner.
The driver admitted to having a drink but passed a roadside breath test.
Officers inspected the car and deemed it to be in a bad condition so issued the driver a TOR (Traffic Offence Report).
This means that the man will have to pay a £100 fine and has received three points on his licence.
Later in the day, officers also received a report of a potential drink driver.
Once the car was located, it turned out that the passenger had a warrant out for their arrest and was taken into custody cells.
