For the past 87 years, Rossi’s, on the Esplanade, has been delighting locals and visitors alike with its delicious ice creams and treats.

The ice cream parlour was opened in 1937 by a family of Italian immigrants - and is run by the same family 85 years on.

Owner Fulvio Figliolini - also known as 'Figgy' and the third generation of his family to run the store - says the recipe for success is that the store 'isn't just another ice cream shop.

Fulvio’s grandparents first came to the UK whilst making their way to America but decided to settle down in Weymouth instead.

Fulvio and his team make all their ice creams in-house using the same recipe that they used in 1937 using no artificial flavouring and as organic as possible, with their natural ice cream being their most popular item.
