ANOTHER business has donated to the Dorset Echo's Christmas Toy Appeal.
The wonderful team at Albion Stone on Portland has donated £100 to help spread the festive cheer and make sure that children who are in need have something to smile about on Christmas Day.
With every contribution to our appeal, more children get to benefit by opening up a present from Santa on the big day.
Albion Stone, a fourth-generation family business, has been deeply entrenched in the Portland Stone industry for almost a century and has extracted this renowned material for more than 40 years.
Pioneering the shift from quarrying to mining, it prioritises environmental preservation, ensuring stones are globally recognised as eco-friendly building products.
Jade Bygrave at Albion Stone said: “As a family run business, we like to give back to the community supporting charities and projects on the island.
"The Dorset Echo Toy Appeal is a great way of spreading festive cheer by providing a gift to children in the local area who may not get a toy at Christmas. We are proud to be a part of this appeal once again for 2024.”
Individuals can also support the Toy Appeal by donating new toys and gifts to our appeal bins located around the county.
All toys donated will be collected and distributed to children who really appreciate them just before Christmas
Every penny of each donation goes directly to providing the gifts to those less fortunate in Dorset.
