THERE will be fun for all the family at Wyke Christmas Fayre this weekend.
It will be held across Wyke Regis - in Old Wyke Square, the Memorial Hall and in the Wyke Regis Social Club on Sunday, December 1 from 11am to 4.30pm.
The fayre will be officially opened by the Mayor of Weymouth at 11am and there will be a chance to meet Father Christmas in the club from 11am to 3.30pm.
There will be plenty to keep people entertained all day and there will be more than 40 stalls including food and drink and amusements for the children.
Musical performances throughout the day will see the Weymouth Accordion Club performing at 12pm, the Harmonic Choir and Island Voices performing at 1.30pm with singing from Wyke Regis Infant School Choir at 2pm.
There will be a children’s Fancy Dress Competition at 2.30pm, a demonstration from the Twirl Academy and a Father Christmas Walkabout at 3.30pm.
The winner of the Best Dressed Dog will be announced at 4pm along with the draw for the Christmas raffle.
At 4.30pm the winner of the Best Dressed House in the Village will be announced.
There will be prizes for the winners and all winners will be announced in the main square unless otherwise stated.
