Part of the A35 has been closed due to flooding this morning and the there are long delays on the A31.
It comes after heavy rain overnight has flooded parts of both roads.
The A35 Dorchester Road is closed in both directions from Foxhills Lane at Organford to the Upton Roundabout.
This is causing long delays for motorists travelling between Bere Regis and Poole.
To make matters worse, the A350 Poole Road from Upton to Sturminster Marshall is also closed as flood water has made the road impassable.
The A31 is also experiencing lots of traffic with delays of around ten minutes expected for people travelling from Bere Regis to Wimborne with AA Traffic News website saying that the average speed is 10mph.
Several sections of the road are partially flooded, particularly near the Corfe Mullen turn off.
Traffic heading in the other direction from Ferndown to Wimborne is fairing slightly better with delays of around 6mph, with the average speed of 20mph.
Radipole village in Weymouth is also closed near the bus turning due to severe flooding.
