A CAR collided with the porch of a pub in a crash on a main route in Dorset, police said.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant footage to come forward following this morning's collision.
Dorset Police said at around 6am today a vehicle collided with the porch of a pub, on the A37 Dorchester to Yeovil road in Melbury Osmond.
The pub is The Sheaf of Arrows, formerly the Rest & Welcome.
The driver of a blue Peugeot 207 – a man aged in his 40s from Yeovil – attended hospital for treatment to minor injuries.
PC James Janssen, of Dorset Police, said: “We are investigating this collision and I am keen to hear from any witnesses who have not already spoken to police.
“I would also urge anyone with a dashcam who was driving in the vicinity during the morning of Monday 25 November 2024, to please check any footage for anything that might assist our enquiries.
“Finally, I would like to appeal directly to the motorist of a vehicle that was driving nearby at the time of this collision to do the right thing and come forward so we can take your account of what happened.”
