Trains running between Weymouth and Yeovil were cancelled earlier today due to a fallen tree on the track.
Services in Great Western Railway between Yeovil Pen Mill and Weymouth were at a stand still whilst teams removed the tree from the track.
It meant that trains between Weymouth and Westbury via Yeovil Pen Mill and Castle Cary were cancelled, delayed or revised.
Passengers were asked to travel on South Western Railway between Weymouth and Southampton before continuing onto to Yeovil.
A spokesperson for Great Western Railway said: "Due to a tree blocking the railway between Yeovil Pen Mill and Weymouth the line is blocked.
"South Western Railway are conveying passengers between Weymouth and Southampton Central in both directions until further notice.
"Arrangements have been made for Great Western Railway rail tickets to be accepted for these journeys."
