AN INVESTIGATION has been launched after multiple dog food bags were stolen from a national pet shop.
Officers were alerted to reports of a burglary at Pets at Home in Gillingham.
Access was reportedly gained to the store on Le Neubourg Way between 12.10am and 12.15am on November 17.
Multiple dog food bags were stolen before the offenders reportedly fled the scene in a black BMW One Series.
Police Constable Paul Cleal, of North Dorset police, said: “We are conducting enquiries into this burglary and I am keen to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the vicinity during the early hours of Sunday 17 November 2024.
“I would also ask any motorists who were in the area and have dashcam fitted, to please check their footage and see if they have captured a black BMW One Series or similar vehicle around the time of the offence.”
