A FREE clothes swapping event is being held in a Dorset village hall.

The SWISH clothes swapping event will be at Preston Village Hall, Preston, Weymouth, on Saturday, December 7.

An event organiser said:  "Could you do with a few new Christmas outfits but want to save your cash for buying presents? Have you had a clear out of your clothes recently and wondering where to take them? Why not come along to Dorset Council’s next SWISH event!

"If you’ve not been to a SWISH before then rest assured, it’s a very simple concept and we’ve had lots of positive feedback from previous events."

This is a free event where people literally swap their clothes.

Anyone wishing to take part should bring along a maximum of 10 items of clothing they don’t want anymore and take home some clothes that they like the look of. You don’t even need to bring anything along to attend.

Women’s, men’s and children’s clothes are all welcome, plus shoes and accessories such as scarves and hats. Please ensure that items are clean and in good condition.

The event will run from 1pm to 3pm on Saturday, December 7 at Preston Village Hall. You can drop the clothes off from 11am onwards, but organisers will stop accepting items from 2pm. No traders please.
