Two people were injured this morning and one man has been arrested on suspicion of assault.
Early this morning police were called to Sedge Place in Littlemoor, Weymouth to reports of a disturbance.
A man and a woman were found with injuries that police did not believe to be serious, and were taken to hospital.
Another man in his 30s has been arrested on suspicion of assault causing actual bodily harm.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "We received a report at 5.15am of a disturbance at an address in Sedge Place in Weymouth.
"Officers attended and it was reported that a man and woman were found with injuries.
"They were taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that were not believed to be serious.
"Another man, aged in his 30s, was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm."
Police add that enquiries are ongoing.
