A NEW kiosk operator is being sought for a town's public gardens.
Dorchester Town Council is looking for a new operator and tenant for its catering kiosk in the Borough Gardens from January 2025.
The kiosk, which sells a range of refreshments, is located in a building near the Prince's Street entrance
Borough Gardens is an award winning, popular outdoor space close to the centre of town and the venue for a range of family-friendly entertainment and events throughout the year, including Love Parks Day, Anonymous Festival, Dorchester Cider Festival and Dorchester Artisan Market.
The annual agreement (Memorandum of Understanding) sets out the obligations on the operator, and in turn, what can be expected from Dorchester Town Council.
If the operator conforms with the requirements of the agreement, then it is expected that the agreement will be renewed for 2026 and annually thereafter.
For more information and how to apply to be considered for the lease, email the Assistant Town Clerk (Corporate): tonyhurley@dorchester-tc.gov.uk.
Applications will then need to be submitted by December 9, 2024.
