A man has denied committing two assaults in Dorchester town centre.
Michael Doucas, aged 32, of no fixed address, appeared in Poole Magistrates' Court yesterday charged with two counts of assault.
These charges relate to two alleged incidents on Friday afternoon, November 15 on South Street, Dorchester.
Doucas has pleaded not guilty to both charges.
The case will be going to trial and will be heard at Weymouth Magistrates Court on December 9.
Doucas was remanded in custody.
