A supermarket has relaunched in Dorset following improvement works.
The Co-op store on North Street, Wareham reopened on Friday November 15 following an eight-week programme of works and improvements to the store, which has been at the site for more than 100 years.
It supports around 20 local jobs and its usual choice of fresh and chilled produce.
A Costa Coffee Express machine and hot food has been added.
Max Anderson, Co-op Wareham Store Manager, said: “There has been such a positive response from the community, the whole team is delighted to have had the opportunity to invest in Wareham – the store looks fantastic, and has been totally transformed.
"We always aim to be at the heart of local life, as we work to create value for our member owners and customers, helping to promote sustainable, viable and resilient communities."
Wareham’s Co-op now opens between 7am-10pm daily.
Parcel collection services are available through Amazon and DPD. Payment services are provided via PayPoint, and an ATM provides access to cash in the community.
Customer car parking is also available.
More information about the location of the store and the services available can be found by visiting the Co-op website and going to store finder.
