A MAN was hospitalised and three people have been arrested after a stabbing in Dorset l.

Officers were alerted to reports of a disturbance at an address in Ashley Road, Poole, shortly before 5am on Sunday morning, November 17.

It is reported a man sustained a stab wound and was taken to hospital for treatment.

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “We received a report at 4.43am on Sunday 17 November 2024 of a disturbance in an address in Ashley Road in Poole.

“It is reported that a man aged in his 30s sustained a stab wound during the incident.

“Officers attended with the ambulance service and the victim was taken to hospital for treatment.

"His condition is not believed to be life-threatening or life changing.

“A 34-year-old woman from Bournemouth, a 39-year-old man from Poole and a 45-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent.

“The arrested people and the victim are believed to be known to each other.

“There will be an increased police presence in the area while enquiries are carried out.

“Anyone with information or concerns is encouraged to speak to an officer.”
