Residents across Dorset are being urged to "save safely" this winter to prevent fire risks at home.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue (DWFR) has issued advice on how the public can save money while keeping fire risks low.
This includes switching off individual radiators in rooms you don't use in your home and using candles - but they should never be left unattended.
The service also reminds people not to run washing machines, tumble dryers or dishwashers overnight, when energy price is low, due to the fire risk.
