A car has been seized from what police said was an uninsured driver in rural Dorset.
Officers from Dorset Police's rural crime team stopped the car in the Shaftesbury area yesterday evening, Friday, November 15, after it was reportedly being driven without the correct documentation.
The driver was subsequently reported for driving without valid third party insurance and the vehicle was seized by police.
The rural crime team regularly patrol areas of rural Dorset to target crime hotspots.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police's rural crime team said: "The vehicle was seized, and driver reported.
"If you think you can get away with offending on Dorset's rural road network, you are wrong... we will find you."
