Readers have written to the Echo to air their opinion after the Echo reported how a Yeovil couple were evicted from their beach hut after 30 years
REFERENCE your headline (Dorset Echo 13 Nov) regarding a Yeovil couple who will lose the use of a Weymouth beach chalet they have enjoyed for almost 30 years.
Dorset Council residents pay the highest Council Tax in the country. Surely they should have priority when it comes to local amenities?
NAME AND ADDRESS SUPPLIED
I READ your headline ref. the beach chalets and suitable renters which made me think we should all watch to see who the new people allowed to rent will be.
I feel very sad for the couple featured on the front page to whom the pleasure of the beach hut is so important.
SUE, Weymouth
