With temperatures dropping, it is certainly starting to feel a lot more like Christmas, so we have compiled another list of community Christmas events to get you in the festive spirit.

Portland

There is plenty to see and do at Portland’s Christmas Sparkle event in Easton Gardens which will take place on Friday, November 9, from 5pm-8pm.

Visitors can enjoy carols around the tree, a Christmas market, tombolas, Christmas rides for children, donkeys, and special performances.

Wyke

The Wyke Square Christmas Carol service and Christmas tree light-up is set to take place on Monday, December 23 from 7.15 in Old Wyke Square.

Weymouth Brass Band will be at the community event, joined by a group of locals who will be performing an array of seasonal carols.

The carol service is free to attend, although donations are welcome as it is all in aid of charity.

Lodmoor

The annual Sparkle in the Park event is set to return on Sunday, November 24 from 3.30pm-5pm.

There is a variety of things that people can get involved in, including jazzing up a jam jar, a candlelit walk around the woodland and live festive music.

Greenhill

The ever-popular Christmas Singalong in Greenhill Gardens will return on December 15 at 3pm.
