A church is holding a quiz night in aid of charity this week.
The Dorchester Community Church are holding a quiz night on Saturday, November 16.
Profits from the quiz night will be donated to Tearfund, a Christian charity that partners with churches in more than 50 of the poorest countries in the world as it seeks to tackle poverty by responding to disasters, with aims to challenge injustice.
Festivities will begin at the church on Liscombe Street at around 6.30pm, with the event concluding at 9pm.
The evening will include a cake sale, raffle, and auction. Teams of between four to six people are encouraged, with a recommended donation of £5 per person. Organisers are encouraging people to being their own drinks and snacks, with wine glasses available.
