A popular Christmas market will make its return later this month.
The Poundbury Christmas Market will be held in Crown Square on Saturday, November 30 featuring more than 100 stalls.
Festivities will start at 10am, and finish at 4pm, with stalls featuring gifts, food, drink and local crafts perfect for those last minute stocking fillers.
First operating in the Buttermarket nine years ago, the non-profit market has gone from strength to strength, reinvesting all money raised in pitch fees to the market for insurances, hire equipment, marketing and more to expand.
Children will also get the chance to meet Father Christmas at Boo’s Toy Shop in Crown Square during the market. To visit him on the day, head to the Head Elf Station outside the shop on the day- no booking is required, but entry will be £12 per child.
Road closures will be put in place around Crown Square from 5.30pm on Friday, November 29 to Saturday. Roads will reopen once stalls have left on Saturday.
