A VACANT commercial building in east Dorset is being transformed into a dental care practice.
Affordable dental care firm mydentist has signed a 15-year lease on the 10,778 sq ft premises at 10 Wimborne Road, Knobcrook, Wimborne.
Property consultancy Vail Williams was instructed by the private landlord to find a new occupier for the detached building, which has the highest energy efficiency rating of EPC A.
Bryony Thompson, Bournemouth-based associate at Vail Williams, said: “We anticipated keen interest, with mydentist signing a 15-year lease following planning consent for 17 surgery rooms.”
Along with Vail Williams, Bournemouth-based solicitors Steele Raymond acted for the landlord. Property agency Primmer Olds, with an office in Wimborne, acted for mydentist.
Following extensive refurbishment, the practice officially opens in late spring 2025.
On a gated site, with car parking, the two-floor commercial premises was built in 2009, with a steel-clad sedum green roof, a ground source heat pump and LED lighting supporting sustainability as the building is EPC A rated.
The building is approximately 0.5 miles from Wimborne Square, with retail, banking and restaurant facilities.
