People have been injured in a two-vehicle crash on the A35.
The crash happened on the A35 at the Football Ground Roundabout at Dorchester at around 4.20pm.
Police say that minor injuries have been reported.
A further vehicle had also broken down. Heavy traffic was reported.
It is understood that the police have left the scene, the road is cleared, and traffic is returning to normal.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "At 4.22pm on Tuesday, November 12 we received a report of a two-vehicle road traffic collision on Weymouth Avenue in Dorchester near the Tesco roundabout.
"It was further reported that a vehicle had broken down.
"Officers are currently in attendance.
"Minor injuries were reported."
A vehicle has also been stopped on the A354 at the Jurassic Roundabout on suspicion of a driving offence and is not connected to the above crash.
